Kitty and August were kinda friends after what happened when getting hit with a metal can. But the were going to school together. Usually didn't talk much either. The things at his house kept him depressed ... a lot. So Kitty and August saw each other almost everyday. He seemed to get a bit more happy to see her every time. But of course she didn't notice that. "Hey August!" She said walking up to a bench he was sitting on "Hey Kitty" he said with a slight smile. "Heyo! Hows things at you house? Any better..?" she said laying on the bench with er legs laying over the bench "No not really i just try not to get involved" he said looking back to his view. "Hey there is like a party that's going on tonight maybe we could go there to get you mind off of thing". She said blushing partly sitting up right. "Yea sure..." he said looking at her "Wicked! See you tonight I'll come to see you! when it's time!" she said jumping up hugging him. He seemed surprised. "uh okay.."
-Before the party-
Kitty went to his house hearing scream "Maybe thats his parents..." She turned into a kitty and climbed to his window. "Psst August!" She said turning normal before he could see her. August came up nose to nose with her. "eek...uh august you kinda close..." he looked at her in her eyes "right sorry..." They both climbed out his window. They walked quietly to the party. "So...." Kitty kicked at the dirt but August made no attempt to talk and Kitty sighed.
-Later-
Kitty sat in a tree singing her feelings hoping to let it out.

This emptiness is killing me And I'm wondering why I've waited so long Looking back I realize It was always there just never spoken I'm waiting here...been waiting here she sighed jumping out of the tree to see August standing there listening. "o-oh hey August"
"Lets get you home..." He said blushing not know weather it was about him or not. "right" She put her jacket on and walked. "Have any fun while you were here?" she said as she walked. "No, you? he said looking up at him "Uh no i just sat up in the tree that's all..." and they took the longer way home. Until three guys jumped out at them on holding August. "Well well well...lookie here it's Kitty" Kitty didn't seemed amused "Okay Fatso let him go..." she said "I told you to stop calling me that!" He said getting angered "Plus is he that important to you...? You know friends aren't worth it and every friend you come by here with i kill." The guy chuckled taking out a knife going toward August "STOP" She screamed "What's he to you...if he's not your friend what is he to you?" he smirked... She sat and thought "h-he's my uh.." she said thinking the guy chuckled "Exactly" going toward him again "He's my boyfriend!" she said not thinking that time hoping that would save him. "Really? Prove it" Pulling the knife away from August to see August's surprised blushing face as the threw him to her. she whispered in his ear "Just play along ... i don't need you dead" She said grabbing his cheeks and kissing him. The guys chuckled stopped "Well i see you weren't liein" he left but August was kissing her..."Mph!"  She tried to talk he pulled away and she giggled "They are gone now you can stop fake kissing me..." she said blushing He blushed "r-right" Ge took her to her house "Well uh this was great i guess...Thanks for saving my life" she giggled "I don't need you dead" She hugged him "Your my best friend...." she said jumping to her front porch "Thanks again!" She waved
